I never thought I would be able to have my own pencam. I was always skeptical about them and read about the cheap ones that stop working and are just junk. This pencam from Swann is high quality. The first few times I tried it out I was disappointed. I would try to record and I thought I was, but it was not on. The button is sort of tempermental and one tap starts it. Two taps and you've started it and then sent it to standby.
Once you get the timing of when to tap, when to press and hold. What does orange color mean, what does blue mean. Once you get comfortable with the regular use of it, it just becomes a pen you carry with you and your able to record any situation you may encounter. Car accident damage, someone acting in appropriately, etc. These are recorded conveniently and safely.
